Parent’s Night Out/Kids’ Night In
Parent’s Night Out/Kids’ Night In is a once-a-month program that encourages parents to have some time away from their children while at the same time allowing the children time to deepen their relationships with their friends and God. It is usually held the first Saturday night of the month from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Children must be pre-registered for the event and the fee is $10 per child with a family cap of $25. Parents sign in and drop off their children in the Fellowship Hall and the children play games, eat supper, and watch a movie with Director of Children’s Ministry, Kay Thomas, during this fun night.
U2 is a program for children in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. It provides time for this age group to hang out and have fun while also strengthening their relationship with God and their peers. It is led by Kay Thomas, Director of Children’s Ministry and Bev Pancoast, Director of Next Generation Ministries. U2 events occur approximately every other month.
