Adult Sunday School Classes

If you are not presently attending one of the adult classes described below, you are cordially invited and encouraged to visit several classes to discover in which one you might experience an opportunity for special fellowship and increased understanding of Christian community.


Agape Class

Curriculum:
Selected books. Fall study will be Following Jesus Without Embarrassing God by Tony Campolo.

Lesson, Discussion, Application
Activities:
Intercessory prayer and outreach. Annual class party.

Crusaders Class

Location: Balcony, Room 20, above the Gathering Place
Curriculum:
Selected books and topics. Potential topics include the Bible, God, the meaning of life, saints, Jesus and faith.
Format:
Presentation, reflection and discussion
Activities:
The Crusaders have social activities and fund raisers (e.g. sub sales) to support social causes such as New Life, NNEMAP, youth activities and an Indonesian child through the Christian Children's Fund.

Fidelis Class

Class Contact: John Wells
Location: East Fellowship Hall
Curriculum:
Wide variety, dependent upon speakers.
Format:
Different speakers each Sunday, with occasional programs by class members.
Activities:
Support youth and church activities plus NNEMAP, WARM, New Life and McCurdy School.

Seekers Class

Location: Back of Balcony, Right Side, above the Gathering Place
Curriculum:
Books selected by the class. In September, 2009, the class will continue to study "The Meaning of Jesus: Two Visions" by Marcus J. Borg and N. T. Wright.
Format:
Various class members give presentations on book chapters followed by discussion.

Soul's Café Class
