Adult Sunday School Classes

If you are not presently attending one of the adult classes described below, you are cordially invited and encouraged to visit several classes to discover in which one you might experience an opportunity for special fellowship and increased understanding of Christian community.

Fidelis Class

Class Location: East Fellowship Hall

Curriculum:: Wide variety, dependent upon speakers
Format:: Different speakers each Sunday, with occasional programs by class members.
Activities:: Support youth and church activities plus NNEMAP, WARM, New Life and McCurdy School

Seekers Class

Class Location: Wagoner Hursh

Curriculum:: Christian current events and theology books selected by class members.
Format:: Class members give presentations on book chapters followed by discussion

Soul's Café Class

Class Location: Balcony, center classroom above the Gathering Place

Curriculum:: Open forum
Format:: Chatting about life’s events and then turning to a discussing dealing with the basics of Christian theology and beliefs.

Covenant Class

Class Location: Balcony, center right classroom above the Gathering Place

Format:: Varied speakers with discussion. Focus will be on your faith journey and how to live as a Christian in today’s world.

Discipleship Class

Class Location: Room 20 above the Gather Space

Curriculum:: The Bible
Format:: Lecture/Discussion. The Bible will be read with an eye on Spiritual Formation making connections with how God’s Word connects with our daily living.

Purpose, Promise and Parenting Class

Class Location: Movie Theater Room

Format:: DVD/Lecture/Discussion God Speaks Your Love Language
Whether you are talking to God or He is talking to you there is one way to experience Him most significantly. Whether you are the parent of an infant, toddler, child or youth, this class is for you. Future topics to be determined by the class.

Connections Class (to God, to the Word, to Others)

Class Location: Chapel

Class Leader: Char Schultz

Activities:: Intercessory prayer and outreach. Annual class party.
Current Topic:: This fall, the class will be studying the Gospel of Matthew.
