Master’s Day of Mission

Event Date:

Sunday, August 6, 2017 - 8:00am to 1:00pm

Event Category:

  • Church Event

Event Location:

Church and the Westerville Area

On Sunday, August 6, Church of the Master will worship through dynamic and active mission work! Regular worship will be very different on this day, so please note the following information and mark your calendars accordingly:

8:30 am
Gather for a brief worship service which will include prayer, the celebration of Holy Communion, and instructions for the Master’s Day of Mission. Those gathered will then be sent into the greater Westerville area (or inside the church building) for a morning of mission work. There will be opportunities to sign up for your choice of mission work prior to August 6.
12:00 pm
Reconvene at Church of the Master for lunch. We will share a meal together and reflect on our experiences in community mission with one another.

Please note that there will not be an 11 am worship service on August 6.

Additional information: There will be a variety of mission options available for all ages and abilities. Some of these options will be located within the Church of the Master building and others will be in the Westerville community. Families are encouraged to be in mission together and childcare will not be available. Dress is casual, please be comfortable!
