Master’s Day of Mission is almost here! Mark your calendars for this Sunday, August 6, when we will gather together for a combined Worship Service. At the end of the Worship Service we will be sent out to continue worshipping through community mission work. Here are the details you’ll need in order to plan for this special day:

8:30 a.m. – Gather for an abbreviated Worship Service. Families are encouraged to worship together. No childcare will be available.

9:15 a.m. – The congregation will be sent out to be in community mission. See below for mission options.

12:00 p.m. – Return to the church for lunch, fellowship, and to share about your experience worshipping through mission work. Gluten free options will be available.

Please note, there will be no Sunday School or 11 a.m. Worship Service.

Mission options available on August 6:

  • Help W.A.R.M. clients with light home repairs, housework, yard work. Located off-site.
  • Be an Eco-Warrior at Highland Park wetland clearing invasive species. Located off-site.
  • Write notes for incoming Otterbein Freshmen. Located at Church of the Master. Child friendly.
  • Cut out shoe patterns for Sole Hope organization. Located at Church of the Master. Child friendly.
  • Kid’s Zone – create gifts for shut-ins. Located at Church of the Master. Child friendly. Teens and adults are welcome as well to help the children.
